Dr. Justine Coderre is a Registered Psychologist who specializes in clinical psychology, providing evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults. She works primarily from a cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) approach and thoughtfully integrates elements of dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and other empirically supported treatments to meet each client’s unique needs.Dr. Coderre completed both her Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology at the University of Calgary. She went on to complete a CPA-accredited clinical internship at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), where she gained extensive experience supporting children and adolescents with diverse mental health concerns.

Her training spans hospital, outpatient, community, and interdisciplinary medical settings, strengthening her ability to understand the complexities of mental health across developmental stages.

Caitlin is a Registered Psychologist with expertise in psychological assessment across all stages of life. Her work is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to offering individuals and families clarity through evidence-based evaluation. With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology focused on psycholinguistics and language development, and a Master of Science in Forensic & Clinical Psychology from the University of Kent in Canterbury, England (2012). Caitlin has spent more than a decade immersed in understanding how people think, learn, feel, and grow. Her training provided a strong foundation in assessing cognitive functioning, personality development, emotional well-being, and, when relevant, risk-related behaviours. In turn, through her training and experience, Caitlin is skilled in differential diagnosis, and complex and co-occurring mental health and developmental presentations across the lifespane.

Caitlin has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a wide range of clinical settings, including acute child and adolescent inpatient and outpatient mental health programs and specialized government agencies supporting adults. These experiences have shaped her nuanced, trauma-informed, and developmentally-aware approach to assessment.

Therapeutically, Caitlin has engaged in ongoing evidence-based training to enhance and specialize her skills. Caitlin is well-versed in utilizing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), mindfulness and self-compassion within the therapeutic setting. Moreover, areas of enhanced training and specialization include, treatment of OCD and anxiety-related disorders through the use of Exposure and Response Prevention (E/RP), as well as modalities (SPACE) to specifically support parents in their approach to navigating their child’s diagnosis of OCD and/or anxiety. Karen is a Registered Psychologist who brings a warm, grounded, and collaborative approach to her work with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. She believes that feeling understood and supported is the foundation for meaningful change, and she strives to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and at ease.

Karen holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology from Acadia University (2008) and a Master of Education in School and Applied Child Psychology from the University of Calgary (2013). She has worked in a wide range of settings, including acute child and adolescent inpatient and outpatient mental health programs, schools, government agencies, private practice, and community programs. These experiences have shaped her ability to thoughtfully assess and support individuals with complex and overlapping mental health and developmental needs.

Karen is committed to providing care that is both evidence-based and compassionate. She regularly participates in continuing education to stay current in effective, research-informed approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and self-compassion. She has also completed specialized training in the treatment of OCD and anxiety-related disorders using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), as well as the SPACE program, which supports parents in navigating a child’s experience with OCD and/or anxiety.
